Rest
This is where I'd rather be,
On my hammock, snoozed away
Because I should be tapering
For Pikes Peak, for Saturday
But I've got lots of work to do
And a kid to supervise
So I'll just wish that I were there
Feeling the sun on my closed eyes.
From my hammock, the view is
blue and green, and it's easy to just lay there
for a long, long time and wonder why would anybody want me to get up?
Can't wait.
Pikes Peak is three days away, and after that, Hammock Time!
